Protest against the new ToS and general #Mozilla shenanigans. But isn’t it a self-defeating endeavour?

Consider, Mozilla maintains the main code base. They actually patch security issues and develop new web standards. Yet their browser market share keeps dropping. Sure, it’s their own doing. But also if Mozilla throws in the towel no fork will survive for long. And here it’s probably about 6 mo. As far as I can tell no fork can handle the amount of work needed to even be on top of security and stay at feature parity is completely out of the question. Some even officially said they can’t be a proper fork.

So, is a switch the right way to apply pressure or is it the finishing tumble?
