A quick thought about <ruby> text support in the fediverse. Can usernames have ruby text attached? Have you played with that at all @hongminhee? Would be interesting to have pronunciation attached directly above someone name!

@liaizon it's a markup so no if you mean the preferredUsername. display name can be arbitrary text so it would work. probably best to add pronunciation as a custom value on the profile with an established name

@hongminhee @liaizon personally I find that a terrible inconsistency in the ActivityStreams vocabulary where the MediaType property refers only to the Content of an Object but not Summary or Name.
