@liaizon The French word is "mélomane", nothing to do with milk "lait".

@hypolite maybe the thread didn't make it clear that I had figured out the original word didn't have anything to do with milkman, just that the way they were pronouncing it sounded as if it was the same. I guess we could call it homophonic drift?

@liaizon Oh I got it, I just wanted to provide the French version of "music lover" that is close to the Italian one from the Latin root, but there isn't any pronunciation deviation that could be related to the "milk" word.
