More risograph prints I did last weekend at Riso Pop here in Amsterdam.
These along with a grip of other prints are coming with me to my first ever art market appearance at De Hallen (Amsterdam) on the 22nd and 23rd of this month. Excited to see how that goes for my first time out.
Digging these new risos I printed last weekend. So nice to be using a risograph machine again after a few years. It's such a cool medium.
MT-Shift Specimen as a Flipbook, showcasing the possibility of seamless letterform morphing between all glyphs, implemented right into the font file.
Printed with RISO.

This zine completes the series, up on my webshop now:
https://inkpapersound.bigcartel.com/
Also on there, 'A skeleton/some bones', a new reversible graphic score zine thing!
Made these incredibly small zine mockups. I’m not planning to do the actual ones this size, just using some sample papers with the right ink colours on, but very into them. A9! From pocket-size to lost-in-your-pocket size…
My Setlist mini-zine series brings together provocations/agitations/prompts for improvised performance by artists from the improvised/experimental music world and beyond.
Vol 1: micro-texts
Vol 2: images
Vol 3: questions
Vol 4: (miniature) maps
Amongst the contributors are some excellent fediverse artists:
@flamingpines
@grahamdunning
@h
@HunterAnton
@AngelaGuyton
@hanearlpark

New LA CHAÎNE #17 by the skin of my teeth, my #riso is fucked
*very limited* quantities, probably will only have them at the B7 show this weekend
The third installment of my Setlist zine series is out today and I'm really pleased with it. A great bunch of artists on board:
- honor ash
- Laura Cole
- Caroline Kraabel
- Han-earl Park
These A7 mini-zines are collections of small starting points for improvised performance, and this time the theme was 'a question'. I love what people came up with!

Here's a fabulous bit of super inky riso printing, that works so well for the content: _The Court_ by Nirvana Paz (2017). Riso lends these amazing and touching photographs an almost charcoal drawn quality, making them even more evocative. Beautiful piece from Gato Negro Ediciones https://www.gatonegro.ninja/
Look what just arrived: Riso print samples from https://Drucken3000.de — so beautiful, so many colors, papers, options/possibilities and actually super useful! Can’t wait to try out with my own work!

Her er plakaten frisk fra #riso printeren. Her bliver farverne lidt mørkere.
Started to set up for recording a mixtape… But where do i put the rest?? (I am used to seratomixing with just 1 turntable but this is too tight) I need to build a better smarter solution than this old customized drawer that once belonged to one of the #Riso printers i had so sell when i moved from house to #apartment. (100 -> 50m2).
New issue of LA CHAÎNE hot off the #riso and available at #VarningXV tonight. Jam-packed issue featuring @mart0's review of the first Varning, show and release reviews by regular contributor @VanisleJay, Halloween decorating tips from @scabrielle, the first CHAINED or UNCHAINED? column, upcoming shows from @shows and an appearance by @zigandscoo! Don't miss out!
New project! ‘Setlist’ zine out today...
A riso-printed A7 mini-zine anthology of provocations/titles/agitations/starting points for improvised performance, featuring work by David Birchall, Dee Byrne, Kate Carr, Graham Dunning, Anton Hunter and me.
It's been of lot of fun putting this together!
Available now from my new webshop:

#riso folks — what blend modes do you use in Photoshop/GIMP to get an idea of the final printed result? I know it'll only be an approximation, but I need some start point for laying out individual colours.
I have an opportunity to riso print some work, and I want to check with those of you who worked more with that process. Specifically, have any of you come across (semi) translucent paper that absorbs the ink sufficiently to work with riso?
Pointers to paper manufacturers and stocks (if they exist) are highly appreciated!
