I have a silly issue: sometimes I like changing my clothes halfway thru the day, and usually these clothes are not fully dirty yet, so I don't want to put them with my dirty laundry, but I also don't want to put them with my fully clean clothes. These in between clothes end up in some strange pile usually on the edge of my bed for many days. I either wear them all till they are fully dirty or eventually decide that they are actually fully clean and put them away.

Anyone else have this issue?

Five months ago I asked what people’s plans were if the administration were to start shutting down parts of the internet

i don’t have any answers, and i’m beginning to think would probably be the time to start finding them

• we need video streaming apps that live upload to safe servers outside of the US

• we need ubiquitous, private, secure messaging across the wire and at rest

• and *we need meshes and networks that cannot be shut down at the government’s whims*

and it needs to be done now

on earth, phosphine is only created by life. some chemical processes can create it, however. those processes exist in venus' atmosphere, but cannot create as much as is seen in venus' atmosphere.

if there was life, it would be in the permanent clouds that cover the globe, living in a mid region of the atmosphere. and, that's where the space nerds are finding phosphine.

so this isn't a definite "there's life on venus" but more to say that either new chemical processes are going on that create more phosphine than we thought possible given the circumstances, or there's microbial life on venus

searching your own name is dangerous you never know what you will find

I got stung by a wasp yesterday and was really hoping that by today my hand would stop looking like a glove someone filled with paint to throw at cops but alas

Waking up before noon is such a weird activity - a fediverse stats site - is looking for a new maintainer. In the Feneas matrix room today, the current maintainer @jaywink said:

"it's Python (Django) on the backend and JavaScript (VueJS) on the frontend 👍️ pull requests and ideally code maintainers welcome! 💚 ... is the [matrix chat] room"

Hey, I'm checking out a whole bunch of #pinephone operating systems. Feel free to ask me any questions about them and I'll find out the answer for you.

Good morning.

Had my first not-a-test-call phone call on my #pinephone this morning. Nice chat for 20 minutes or so. Caller on the other end had no negative feedback about call quality.
